Custer, Cody & Chelesse

Cody and his wife, Chelesse, along with their four daughters – Cecilya (14), Chamberlyn (11), Cora (6), and Camrie (4) – were appointed by TWR to Guam in early 2020. The Custers will be relocating from Bettendorf, Iowa, where Cody worked for 13 years as a product support representative for a large agricultural equipment manufacturer. The Custers love serving as a family and have a deep-rooted passion for the mission field. Cody became very convicted of the Lord's calling on his heart years ago and served faithfully on short-term trips globally as well as within his own community and church. Yet he knew the call was to GO! The question was how the Lord would do that. The answer: TWR! Cody will be working as the facilities manager on the island of Guam. This includes maintaining and repairing the broadcasting equipment (towers and antennas), as well as the grounds and facilities, to ensure that biblical truth continues to be broadcast on a daily basis throughout Asia and the Pacific. Chelesse enjoys building lasting relationships within her community and loving on those all around her, wherever she is planted. She will continue to be a supportive wife as well as a full-time mom, helping the kids become acclimated to a new community, new culture, and new friends. The Custers are thrilled to be serving with TWR and to be helping ensure that God's Word continues to reach people right where they are.
