The Avellas are far from strangers to TWR. Karen, the daughter of TWR missionaries Dave and Flo Carlson, grew up in Monaco and South Africa, then later served with TWR herself in Guam. It was there that she met and married Jim. Jim and Karen have served in Honduras and Florida with Bible Basics International and South Africa and Guam with TWR. After retiring from TWR in 2021, a bit sooner than expected, God has opened a new door of opportunity for us on Guam. Jim will be assisting in IT, maintenance, and PR for the station. Karen will help with the QSL card response (acknowledging responses from our listeners around the world). We are excited to be preparing for returning to Guam and invite you to partner with us in reaching the world for Christ, specifically the Asia Pacific region from KTWR Guam.
